I normally can't stand the cliche subject of the two women in a erotic sexual shot. I am just tired of seeing them. What you have displayed here is something different. I don't see sex at all but tenderness and a embrace of something truly feminine. There is a sisterly feel not lesbian more a family type of love here, and this is hinted in the Rembrandt type of lighting give your photo a sort of soliloquy. I am sure there will be other who disagree but it has a similar to the paintings of Caravaggio show that I saw in NYC in the early 70's. When you display a situation with that kind of effect you change the image to something more meaningful then just Glamour Photography. I would like to make this into a painting thats how much it has moved me. It screams "this is my sister and don't you dare hurt my family" that what I hear the girl who is addressing the viewer. I would like to see more work with this style of lighting, I believe it is extremely successful! Bravo to you!

A beautiful image !

It has a presence that is hard to quantify other than it has PRESENCE, in spades :D

Beautifully done all round ! :D

Being unable to quantify the presence this image has is the reason it has presence, which is a paradox if there ever was one. Liloo is quickly becoming one of my favorite models. The beautiful lighting and color aside, I'll bet Mr. Benveniste would agree that having her in front of the camera makes his job behind it easier. Congratulations on yet another stunning collaboration with Liloo.

I'm curious about one thing -- when you reviewed all the photos from this session, was this one immediately your favorite? You know, a BAM! moment, so to speak?

I think the title is not doing the image justice, Think about "Fallen Angle" or something that will move your audience away from the the couple image and more to a sister, The work here is more profound then the implication of a sexual relationship. I think we need to take our work further then back to the root.

Well I have to agree that the title does not do justice to this poetic image...Liloo is perfect here!!

Everyone think that the "I'm leaving you" concerns the lady she holds in her hand...What if it was adressed to the man she is looking at ?

Well please I am only being objective and trying always to see thing in a different light. I have spent many years doing creating obvious blatant subject matter, what you see is what you see, but sometimes its not and I want others to see that side in art. Forgive me if I have offended you in anyway, that was not what I wanted to do. Its a great photo you should be extremely happy with it.

I love how the title puts itself in opposition to the pose. The yellow tint to the skin is a nice touch. Gives a sense of depravity to the situation. The intimate closeness of the situation really gives emotional impact for the viewer. It's as strong as the title. I can see this as a very large print in an exhibit or very small. I'm curious as to the final display size.
