Being unable to quantify the presence this image has is the reason it has presence, which is a paradox if there ever was one. Liloo is quickly becoming one of my favorite models. The beautiful lighting and color aside, I'll bet Mr. Benveniste would agree that having her in front of the camera makes his job behind it easier. Congratulations on yet another stunning collaboration with Liloo.
I'm curious about one thing -- when you reviewed all the photos from this session, was this one immediately your favorite? You know, a BAM! moment, so to speak? I think the title is not doing the image justice, Think about "Fallen Angle" or something that will move your audience away from the the couple image and more to a sister, The work here is more profound then the implication of a sexual relationship. I think we need to take our work further then back to the root.
-- If you learn something and you do not share it you did not learn it-Peter Andolfi Everyone think that the "I'm leaving you" concerns the lady she holds in her hand...What if it was adressed to the man she is looking at ?
-- François Benveniste [link] francoispbenveniste@gmail.com Well please I am only being objective and trying always to see thing in a different light. I have spent many years doing creating obvious blatant subject matter, what you see is what you see, but sometimes its not and I want others to see that side in art. Forgive me if I have offended you in anyway, that was not what I wanted to do. Its a great photo you should be extremely happy with it.
-- If you learn something and you do not share it you did not learn it-Peter Andolfi I love how the title puts itself in opposition to the pose. The yellow tint to the skin is a nice touch. Gives a sense of depravity to the situation. The intimate closeness of the situation really gives emotional impact for the viewer. It's as strong as the title. I can see this as a very large print in an exhibit or very small. I'm curious as to the final display size.
