Out of nowhere

Its hard for me to be objective with an image that strikes me so thoroughly as this one does. The depth of field is so intense in this image that it contributes immensely to its power. The model's eyes still manage to stand out even from the blur and I think this too lends to that intensity. The lighting is superb and highlights the subject just right, directly but softly. The composition is so dynamic in such a simple pose and having the openness of the left of the frame I think only adds to the composition's strength. The converging angles created by her hands and arms and the arch of her back, the curve of her neck, even her hairline, add so much dimension to the image.

Normally I try not to give straight high marks but there is nothing about this image that I, in my limited knowledge and experience, could imagine changing and have not the technical know how to suggest improvements. I think this image is superb and my marks hopefully reflect that.
