I'd like to offer a critique, too, partly to offer my input on your photo and partly as a response to peterpazucha's critique.

In my honest opinion, the balance between dark and light in this photo is perfect. Perfect, really? Yes, perfect. Obviously, this photo is meant to have some level of mystery to it, or that interplay wouldn't be there in the first place. The darkness of the armor and face is essential, I think, since it makes the model seem more like an assassin than a pretty face. Does it really matter if the armor has details? No, because to me, that's not the point of the photo. The point is to show this dark, shadowy, perhaps even evil figure holding a dangerous weapon and probably ready to raise some hell.

I especially appreciate the setting in which the model is standing. It offers a very real and horror-like quality to the image. I don't understand why any cables would have to be taken out. Leave them there, I say. They are a part of the setting in which you chose, and I see no reason to change the background.

I don't know if this was done on purpose, but my favorite part of this photo was the stain on the wall that leads directly down to her hand. Brilliant! Not only does it give the viewer a hint of possible upcoming events (some blood will be shed), but it's a great visual device that leads me to the weapon.

Overall, I think you did a fantastic job, and I have no complaints.
